For the past five years I've been building data warehouses and analytics systems. Before that: consulting, a product startup, roles at the intersection of engineering and architecture.
I work with Greenplum, Informatica, dbt, Dagster, Airbyte, PostgreSQL. Not tied to one tool: I pick what fits the task and the team.
Alongside architecture I own priorities, timelines, and the conversation with the business. I make decisions with the people in the project. Top-down doesn't work for me.
I follow what's happening in cloud warehouses like Snowflake and Databricks, and how they map onto the Kazakhstan and CIS markets: the rules here are ours, and the American playbook doesn't apply.
Open to conversations about data architecture and international projects. Writing here without the corporate gloss.
